National University of Lesotho (NUL) and Bothata Mahlala Development Foundation (BMDF) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) on the establishment of a NUL Career and Talent Centre, on 5th March, 2024 .
Known as the Quality Assurance Center for Investment in Excellence, the project aims to nurture and groom post primary learners for career orientation in line with their interests and/or talents; to undertake career, professional and market research in order to inform curricular and programme review through involvement of stakeholder participation to identify and develop programmes that address skills shortages in Lesotho as outlined in the NSDP II.
Among others, the project is intended to train NUL students to act as career leaders and mentors as well as to enhance the implementation of quality assurance systems through mentorship and coaching. This will also help to fortify NUL Public Relations and Marketing Strategies.
Bothata Mahlala Development Foundation is a non-profit making organization that desires to maintain and enhance its stance of a responsible Lesotho organization through positive actions towards the promotion and development of excellence in the fields of study and talent development.
