Staff Faculty: Procedural and Adjectival Law

Mrs Mosito is a lecturer in the department of Procedural and Adjectival Law. She teaches undergraduate courses, namely Family Law and Succession and Administration of Estates. She has also taught Insurance and Banking Law. She has administrative experience, having served as a tutor and subsequently Head of Department from 2009 to 2019. Special assignments that she carried out include serving as a member of the Joint Council/Senate Committee for the selection of a candidate for the position of the University Registrar, a Senate representative on the Acts and Statutes Committee and a faculty representative on the NUL HIV/AIDS Committee. She has interest in children’s rights.

Advocate Ntsane Lesenyeho is an admitted advocate of the Courts of Lesotho specializing in civil and labour law litigation. He holds a LLB from the National University of Lesotho, a Master’s degree in insolvency law from the University of Pretoria and he is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in Mercantile Law (LLD) at the University Of Pretoria. He currently teaches the law of criminal procedure, the law of evidence and supervises LLB mini-dissertations in different spheres of the law. He is a member of the Legal Aid Clinic at the Faculty of Law that assists pro bono cases and gives back to the community. He is an aspiring legal academic researcher in the sphere of mercantile law. He is a former Lecturer at the Centre For Accounting Studies teaching corporate and business law.

Advocate Mothepa Ndumo is a Labour Lawyer, Legal Academic, Industrial Sociologist and Certified Coach who specializes in the Executive and Leadership Development niche. She holds two Masters’ degrees in Labour Law and Industrial Sociology respectively from the University of Cape Town, a BA Law and LLB from the National University of Lesotho and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Conciliation and Arbitration from the Universities of Namibia, Lesotho and Cape Town. Advocate Ndumo currently teaches Labour Law and the Law of Business Associations and supervises LLB dissertations spanning these two disciplines. She has sat on various panels for Henley Business School Africa in Johannesburg for external clients such as Vodacom South Africa, FirstRand and the Liberty Group. She has published in academic journals and also provided thought leadership on various platforms in Lesotho and South Africa including in the Public Eye newspaper, Informative newspaper, Finite Magazine, Skills Portal, The Afropolitan magazine, True Love magazine and her own website www.higherselfcoaching.org

Mrs. Makau currently teaches undergraduate courses in the department, specifically International Law and International Organisations. She supervises the practical component of the course Clinical Legal Education through the Faculty attached Legal Aid Clinic which serves a dual mandate of providing experiential learning to students and community service on the other hand. Her research interests include issues on community development and access to justice. She is currently a tutor for first and fifth year students. She was recently part of the National University of Lesotho team that drafted Lesotho’s Voluntary National Review Report on the SDGs with a particular focus on SDG 16 for the 2019 reporting cycle.
