He has interest in and passion for issues of Disability, Gender, particularly Transformative Masculinities, postcolonial reading of texts as well as Counselling within the African spiritual/religious framework. Assoc. Prof. Leshota has served as a Regional Reference Group Member for Ecumenical HIV&AIDS Initiative in Africa (EHAIA) Southern Africa Chapter for five years. In 2018 he was enlisted as a reviewer of Papers, Posters and Symposia for the World Education Research Association (WERA) Conference, in Cape Town. In 2017-2019 he served the Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies, Stellenbosch University, as an external Lecturer. In 2022 Assoc. Prof. Leshota has been appointed as Senior Lecturer Extraordinary at the Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies at Stellenbosch University. He has also been appointed a Research fellow in the Department of Practical and Systematic Theology at UNISA. His passion for disability saw him spearhead the founding of the Advocacy Team for Inclusion (ATI) and the securing of sponsorship from SEKHAMETSI for the acquisition of assistive devices for students with disabilities at NUL. Assoc. Prof. Leshota is currently a member of a number of international and regional professional associations such as the International Children’s Palliative Care Network; RAMPUP Southern Africa; Association of Pastoral Care and Counselling in Southern Africa; Africa Consortium for Law and Religion Studies. He has published articles, chapters in Books on a wide range of theological subjects including his recent Co-editorial works entitled, Breaking the Masters S.H.I.T holes: Doing Theology in the Context of Global Migration as well as Mother Earth, Mother Africa and Biblical Studies: Interpretations in the Context of Climate Change. His interests include teaching, research, research collaborations, networking, mentoring and curriculum review.

Dr. Molumeli has since 2009 been lecturing at the National University of Lesotho (NUL) in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies (TRS), under the Faculty of Humanities. As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Molumeli injects psychology component courses into the Spiritual Care and Counseling Studies (SCCS) program. During his doctoral studies at Wright State University, Dr. Molumeli earned two prestigious and highly competitive awards: “The Psychologists for Social Responsibility and Psychological Dimensions of Peacework Award” in 2001. “The Dr. E. Scott Redman’s Community Service Award” in 2004. A Winner of the 1987 Inter-diocesan Catholic Choral Music Competition. As post-graduate student, Dr. Molumeli served as an Assistant Lecturer on 3 difference courses for 3 consecutive academic years: Humanistic-Existential-Transpersonal Theory II (2003), The Physiology of the Brain (2002), and Humanistic-Existential-Transpersonal Theory I (2002) Dr. Molumeli is also an accomplished practicing psychotherapist. He began practicing in the United States of America at the Beatrice State Developmental Center for five years (2004-2008). His strong areas of psychotherapeutic interest and success are in relation to Chemical Dependency, Substance Abuse and Alcohol Addiction, Mental Retardation, Premarital Counseling, Marital Counseling, Adolescents, Group Psychotherapy/Counseling, Individual Psychotherapy / Counseling. He is eclectic in his psychotherapeutic approach, with heavy leaning on Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic-Existential Psychotherapy.

Dr. Phohlo is a lecturer in the TRS department teaching counseling courses in SCCS at the National University of Lesotho. Raising awareness about the taken-for-granted operations of power in the everyday social relations in society, especially gender relations, and their effects on individuals and communities is his passion. He is the author of Jesus, the Defender of the Last and the Christianity of Lesotho: Christianity and Politics.
