‘Maletsoela Mahao is a passionate, versatile and results driven HR professional with a comprehensive knowledge and solid background of HR practices and all commercial and technological aspects surrounding Human Resources Management. Ms. Mahao is experienced in working in large, challenging and labour intensive environments; the manufacturing and construction sector where she held senior managerial positions which then accorded her an opportunity to showcase her adeptness through her implementation of innovative HR solutions. Currently, ‘Maletsoela Mahao is an Assistant Lecturer at the National University of Lesotho facilitating in the following courses, strategic human resource management, leadership and entrepreneurship and new venture creation. In addition to these responsibilities, she took an administrative duty of serving as a Faculty of Social Science Tutor. Her research interests are in employee and organisational wellness, strategic human resource management,intrapreneurship, change management and people analytics. ‘Maletsoela also engages in consultancy for businesses where she provides tailored HR and management solutions that drive productivity. She is passionate about creating a platform where HR scholars and HR practitioners come together to enrich their understanding of the HR field. She believes in the power of people to drive organizational success.

Mr. Matela is a lecturer in the DBA in the Marketing stream. He is currently teaching entrepreneurship and brand management. He co-authored an article published by ScienceDirect. His research interests are on Entrepreneurship, Business Performance and Knowledge Management. He has extensive industry experience, especially as a consultant in capacity building.

Ms. Tilo is an experienced and seasoned Finance and Accounting Lecturer with a stellar teaching and academic record in both academic and professional institutions of higher learning. Her research interests are in auditing, management accounting and financial accounting with a particular interest in environmental reporting frameworks. Before joining academia, she worked in both the private and public sector performing finance related and business development duties for a period of 8 years. She is also a member of the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA) and an examiner for Master of Co

Mr. Mosoeunyane is a lecturer in Accounting, Finance and Entrepreneurship. He is currently teaching Financial Accounting 1, Introduction to financial reporting and entrepreneurship. He is also a committee member of the NUL Innovation Hub. He has over 14 years’ experience which combines both industry and academia. In academia, he worked in different local tertiary Institutions where he taught accounting, finance and risk management courses and courses offered by Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), such as defining business needs (L4M2), advanced contract and financial management(L5M4). His research interests and engagements are in finance , risk management and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Maime is a lecturer and coordinator in Entrepreneurship and New Business Creation. He is also a committee member of the NUL Innovation Hub. He has published his research in accredited international journals like the Interdisciplinary Journal of Economics and Business Law (IJEBL) and the Journal of Management Information and Decision Sciences. He has recently contributed peer reviewed chapters to the following books: (1) Small Business and Entrepreneurial Development in Africa and (2) The Future of Entrepreneurship in Africa. He has also presented at internationally recognised conferences and seminars. Since 2020, he has been engaged in commercial research and management consulting. He has a keen interest in maintaining continuous growth in research and consultancy in the fields of entrepreneurship, finance, and information systems within both industry and academia. In the current economic upheavals and mega-trends, technology and entrepreneurship are increasingly becoming areas of interest for him. Dr. Maime believes in bridging the gap between the private sector and institutions of higher learning.

Teaching management and marketing courses at undergraduate level since joining the Department. Research interests in services marketing and management dynamics in organisations.

Mildred Mahapa (PhD) is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Business Administration with over 12 years of experience in the lecturing field. She has been the Head of the Human Resource Management Department at Midlands State University for two consecutive terms. She has also taught various HRM courses at Masters and Undergraduate level and supervised students’ research work in different Universities. More so, Mildred is actively involved in collaborative research and has presented papers at international conferences and published a number of articles in refereed journals. She is an external examiner at Great Zimbabwe University in the Human Resource Management Department and a reviewer for different Journals. She has been involved in assessing international degree qualifications, programs as well as creating the minimum body of knowledge (MBKs) for Human Resource Management Degrees for the Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education (ZIMCHE). Mildred is also involved in consultancy work and her research interests are in performance management, decent work, knowledge management, and HR metrics

Peter Khaola is the professor of Human Resources and General Management, and the Dean in the Faculty of Social Sciences. His research interests are in areas of Human Resources Management and Organisational Behaviour, with particular emphases on organisational citizenship behaviours, innovative work behaviours, leadership, organisational commitment, organisational justice, entrepreneurial intentions, and employee performance. He has published his research in national and international journals, including the European Journal of Innovation Management, International Journal of Innovation Management, International Journal of Management Education, Journal of Enterprising Culture, Management Research Review, Ethiopian Journal of Environmental Studies and Management, KCA Journal of Business Management; African Journal of Public Administration and Management, Eastern Africa Social Science Research Review; Africa Education Review, Annals of Humanities and Development Studies, Lesotho Social Sciences Review, Southern African Business Review, and the Journal of Language, Technology & Entrepreneurship in Africa. He has presented papers in the national and international conferences, and served as a reviewer for international conferences and journals. He recently served as an associate editor of SA Journal of Human Resources Management. He is the member of the Organisation for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (OSSREA), and the Southern African Institute of Management Scientists (SAIMS). He has been involved in the evaluation of programmes of institutions of higher education for the Council on Higher Education (CHE) in Lesotho. He has been involved in some consultancy projects for the government and private sector organisations in Lesotho, and has served as a board member of a state-owned enterprise (SOE).

Dr. Douglas Musiiwa is a lecturer in Marketing and currently teaching Strategic Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour and International Marketing. His research interests are in Services Marketing, Behavioural Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Entrepreneurship and Leadership. Dr. Musiiwa has conducted a successful market research and launch of new products in the fuel sector in Zimbabwe. He has supervised research students in renewable energy at Masters level in Zimbabwe and a number of undergraduate research students at NUL. Besides over ten years of teaching experience at university and colleges, Dr. Musiiwa has vast experience of business administration and leadership. He has been an executive member of organisations in different industries including, in the energy sector, manufacturing, government departments and in the retail sector.

F.A. Oni brings international teaching and research experience in Accounting and Finance. His background is diverse (from four countries), inclusive of collaborative research and consultancy work. He is interested in multi-methods research approach having used a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods in his works. He has published in international journals and has been engaged in peer review with several academic conferences. As an educator, his academic research informs his pedagogic approach. He also has versatile management consulting experience in different countries in Africa. Parallel to his teaching duties, his current research and supervision interest focusses on three streams: (1) Performance measurement and management in the Public and Private Sectors; (2) Environmental Management Control System; (3) Career aspirations and self-efficacy in higher education including students’ part-time work and employability. Oni, has experience in research supervision at the undergraduate level and welcomes enquiries from keen and highly dedicated individuals on research especially in the above areas.
